After an accident, Julie lost her husband and five-year-old children,  and she is almost dead.When she can walked out of bed, the first thing she want to do is to smash the glass port in hospital, and then commit suicide.After leaving hospital, she sold the house, made a will, advanced care of the funeral, ready to live isolated.That night,she called the friend who loved her yeras, to be a return,she made love with him,and then left without saying anything.

She was so decisive and firm,left anything even her husband's music manuscript.she only brought a blue bells with her.In her mind,her family destroyed, everything has no meaning anymore.She had only one thought: wait for death.

Although she would like isolation, but it is always very hard to detect in real life intrudes: at night,street violence victims, fled into her house, yet she was shut out; neighbors asked her to sign the House agreed to the expulsion of a prostitute; husband's music came out everywhere into her ears...She remembered his mother and visited her, who live a life that waiting for death for years.Her mother waited in front of TV all day, and mistaken her dauthter as her sister.It is terrible and boring to wait for death.

What a heavy life to wait for death due to despair!

When she plunged into conflict, pain and struggle, she jumped into the blue swimming pool. Here,water is a symbol of life, blue represents freedom and tranquility of the soul. Life has no meaning, it is impossible for the freedom of life and soul of the peace.Her boyfriend found her finally, but being loved can not call her back to the living enthusiasm.

 Her attitude to death has changed due to an accident opportunity.In a TV show, she saw her boyfriend published her husband's music manuscript .What's more from the television,she saw her husband photos, with a girlfriend beside him close.She does not agree to complete her husband's work, Because it was private.But her boyfriend says that this is a public,and insisted to complete it.She began to ask about the woman beside her husband.She met her, the female lawyer asked her: "Do you hate me?" She replied: "I do not know."

When she found that women was, she returned home immediately and stoped to sell her house, gave it to her husband's girlfriend.Jolie change the attitude of living for death, life renewed enthusiasm, she saw her husband's life and death have not disappeared, either mental or physical, they are both in continuity.Therefore, she became an active high-spirited, not only offer to help her boyfriend complete the music and also commissioning of a new affection.

The directed seems to tell us that life is meaningless and painful in isolation.Only into the life of others in the chain of life, can we get the value and significance of life, and have the freedom also.

This a film which is talking about freedom, not material but mental.

When prostitutes answered about her career choice, the director understand and respect for freedom rose to another side, human is a man because she was born as a human, not because she became a kind of person;.

When Jolie left her husband's house and family name to the  baby, she set herself free and saved her own.

When Jolie heard her husband's lover said a sincere "sorry" to her, she finally found her freedom.

The unknown woman

This is a long film. At the first of this film I saw the naked woman with a mask, standing there for judge. I don't know what it means and this attracts me to see what is going on.

    From start to finish,the whole film images of tonal abnormal gloomy and dark, the film city had no brilliant sunshine everyday, the people in the film are wearing black or gray clothes, walking under the bad weather. Elana rented apartment, the senior apartment across the street are incredibly cold and dark, spiral upward of stair gruesome and eerie.
Elana from the beginning gingerly performs her own plan, the entire story revolves around sheunfolded.         
From the beginning we want to know who she was, why Elana came to this city, what kind of woman is she,she pushed the former maid cruelly under the stairs to oneself can replace her into the jeweler's home for what, she was in the jeweler home looking for something, she near the jeweler's daughter and ... She finally whether to get what kind of purpose.
    This is how the story wring out two lines. Main theme, dark-haired Elena is maternal love, Italy, cold blue. Anther line is revenge theme, blonde Elena, Ukraine, the golden color. The reality and the past is like the polar ice and fire, Elena is between the poles wander by memories pain. Maintain between two lines of an important token is strawberry, and that was in the sun of summer square, her lover hands to her, strawberry behind his smiles. And in the present world, strawberry is just in the dark night ,eating and suffering alone, lover has been killed, only in this way can she keep the love taste.

    Revenge of the theme with a period of Elena's sad story. The scene impressed me was she went into huge dump with her shovel, crows flying above the sky, she dug out her lover's rotten body, crying sadly. Later, she used a big scissors to kill her enemy, that man who kill her lover, sell her children, once again abuse and adultery her baldheaded the wicked, and then took his money away, all this is Elena's nightmare she never want to memory again.

   And maternal love theme of Elena is a obviously, twist overdo to eyes suddenly between sadness to empty woman. To find her baby, she came to the strange city, the design becomes their home nurse, step by step, close to the child, let the child rely on her, what's more she trained her get rid of psychological abuse in shadow, teach her climbed quiakly after fell, when being hit ,counterattack quickly, this let me be very delighted, she can together with their children, and children are also very dependent on her, and I think even finally they will visit, Elena could bring children live happily.
 Elena believe jeweler's daughter is her last child, his lover's child,when we think this will end up looking unprofessional film when they hear the tragic past Elena, planned to give her help, film again give viewers a loud shock, originally the jeweler's name just pimps say casually out of a name, in fact the jeweler adoption girl is not Elena's children, all hope and good at that moment to an abrupt end.

Film finally, from prison after serving Elena come out, come to meet her only grown-up jeweler's daughter, although she is not her daughter, Elena relaxed and smlieed happily, I think this it the only time she slimed so hanppily since the film stars to ends.

Shanghai Triad

This is a story about love and hatred fairy tale in sinister gang in old Shanghai.
the story's main line is Shuisheng,  who came to Shanghai from the countryside , witness the transaction between the gangs, rush, and many people died in his life.It makes the old Shanghai's darkness and evil came out bloody and beautiful performance.
I never forget the eyes of Shuisheng at the first of the movie, strange, afried, hope, and confused, everyone who comes to Shanghai is almost like this, I think the old Tang is also.
The film‘s characterized by the entire film is divided into five parts, as part of the day.In the five days,the old Shanghai, the old Chinese society, and even the humanity presenting in front of us.The total five parts, describes a story which is not complete, it needs our imagination to make it complete, in the five days, some sad, some happy,and also, there is life and dead.whit right change life in the old society was directed in a short analysis of the 100 minutes.

The second characteristic in the film is all the songs are sang by Gong Li who played the heroine Xiaojinbao in the film. Many commentators felt that this this is the flaw of the film, it should be sung by professional singers, but I think this arrangements for ulterior motives is Zhang Yimou's special purpose.Gong Li as a generation actress, for a very good grasp of the role Xiaojinbao, expressed a Shanghai Showgirl's sad, helpless, sad, strong and miserable.

The third characteristic is the scene that Xiaojin Bao, Ajiao and Shuisheng  sang "Rock rock to the grandmother bridge" together in reed beds on the island.Three of them hidden in the reeds, when it is sunset, between heaven and earth are the cage with a layer of hazy yellow yarn, good sense of the whole picture of the lens warm and quiet among the beautiful, Xiao Jinbao remove the vulgar and the dust of the camouflage, with three comfortable singing the song rhymes,which could not bear to damage.

The beginning and ending of the film echoes the use of the tactic.At the beginning of the film, "Rock rock to the grandmother bridge" the music resounded in our ears, close-up to Shuisheng, who firstly arrived in Shanghai, standing in a busy crowd, looking confused , the beginning of the film, the leaders appear straight to the point, and in the end, after a heavy rain, people dead as it planed, Shuisheng was hung upside down on the boat, and Ajiao was chating with old Tang, Ajiao wants to become a second Xiaojin Bao. So childish and miserable in our eyes.At the same time, Xiao Jinbao has been buried on the island, while struggling coins dropped out of Shuisheng's pocket, they are from Xiaojin Bao, along with the song rings, the  three coins fell into the water by piece, seems to represent Xiaojin Bao was completely disappeared.

Xiao Jinbao's story come to an end, continues to follow the story may be Ajiao, who will then is not known.No matterwho is the next, they are just Shanghai sauce,like a dance or a song.Their story is to make Shanghai still tempting and prosperous.But, unfortunately, it will coming out again and again.

Walking On Water

Before this movie, I've never see a Israle film, I have no idea ahout this country culture. After watching Walk on Water, I think I find some common points betwween Israle and China-the historical issues.

The main character of the movie is Eyal, a stoic killer who works for the government. He is still excellent at his job, but he has personal problems confused him. Since he needs some time to slow down, Eyal's boss assigns him to find an elderly Nazi officer. Eyal dismisses the assignment as unnecessary - the officer is close to death - but his boss requires him: 'I want to get him before God does.' The Nazi's whereabouts are unknown, but his grandchildren are in Israel now. Pia the granddaughter is working on a kibbutz, and her brother Axel is visiting from Berlin. Eyal poses as Axel's tour guide, while the recording device in Pia's dorm covers what he misses. From now on, the story on the three young people is going on.

To Eyal, the mission teaches him some life lessons, as the homophobic, Israeli killer bonds with Axel, a gay, but gregarious German. The movie's strongest part, how Eyal willingly becomes a friend to someone he's probably been taught to hate, is where everything unravels, both from a plot and common sense perspective. Think about it: How could Eyal imagine has a strong sense of what's going on, not know Axel is gay; especially when he talks about his preference for uncircumcised penises? I thought this time Eyal is very contradictory, he is very offensive to gays, but in his mind, he feels good to Axel when they stay together.

The friendship also brings walk on water into familiar territory. As the two men get closer, Eyal's killer instincts became soften, and he wonders about his commitment.
When Axel left, Eyal said he dosen't need Axel's address in Berlin because he will never go there, but the next screen is he standing in front of Axel.And this time, Axel became his tour guide, he took him any palce he interested, including his family party.

This opportunity gave Eyal to close his grandfather, he can kill the old man, but at last he didn't, he is tired, he gave up, which happened in front Axel's eyes, after listening Eyal's story, watching him crying saidly in his arm like a child, Axel makes a final decision, killed his grandfather.
The ending of the film may be happy for someone, but I don't think so, I hope Eyal and Axel can love and live together, other than being law-in-brother, I am moved by the following picture, if time stops at this time, how beautiful it is:

This film give me another thought is being tolerance on historical issues, no matter how sad and pain your country throughed, it is nothing to do with the future generations of your enemy country, like German, so is to Japan, but the premise is you have to face the history, and recognition your behavior.

In my view, I do not hate the ordinary people in Japan, but which I can not bear is some of Japanese do not face the history, they lied to their children about the war from 1937 to 1945 in china, but it is a long story. I just hope the world peace, no wars any more, people can feel relax like walking on the water.

Running under the name of love

Children Of Heaven was the first Iranian movie to be nominated for an Oscar (it lost out to Life Is Beautiful), so it's surprising it's taken so long reaching our screens.

Nine-year-old Ali has mislaid his sister Zahra’s shoes. Afraid to tell his impoverished parents about the loss, Ali comes up with a practical solution: Zahra can wear his trainers during her morning lessons provided she returns them to him in time for his afternoon classes.
In a house where the mother is ill and the father is underpaid, something seemingly small like a pair of shoes takes on greater importance.
In one segment, Ali joins his father in search of work in wealthier neighborhoods. There are some funny moments and their relationship appears almost like the one between father and son in Vittorio de Sica’s “The Bicycle Thief.”
It is heart wrenching to watch the children and see them agonize over the sneakers, which carry with them a drama of their own.

Things seemed to turn better,the father, a terrible, tongue-tied salesman, is rescued by Ali's making the proposals. Papa gets new respect for his son as he is hired by a nice old grandfather who pays him handsomely.  Ali plays with the grandson. ( kids are kids, with no social distinctions. )
Once the job is done, the pair leave in high spirits, the father and son are dreaming about thier happy life in the future because of so much money, mum can have a beautiful colthes, little sister will have a beautiful shoes....But sense that something bad is going to happen. It does, when the bike's brakes don't work. It is not a serious accident but financially the poor people are back to square one.


Ali still feel guilty about his mistake, he make every way to compensation his sister, and it comes.
At the boys school, the gym teacher had announced an inter-school competition of long distance running, four kilometers. The first prize is two weeks in a holiday camp, a dream for have-not students. Ali, preoccupied with his troubles and bad shoes did not sign up, but discovering that third prize is a pair of sneakers, he begs tearfully to enter the race. The teacher relents.
It is funny that Ali is the fastest one in his school without any professional training. And his teacher is also surprised about his gift of running, but he dosen't know it is not a gift, it is the life force, he has to run faster to get school since his little sister late for coming back.

On the day of the race, Ali told his sister: I will win the shoes for you. Before running, other boys wearing best clothes and shoes, doing warm-up activities with their teachers and parents guide, they all hope to be the champion except Ali. A boy whose clothes are old and shoes are worn out, he only want to be a third one to get the shoes.
Unluckily to Ali, he won the race, he get the holiday camps but the shoes, he is confused about his work, everyone is happy and taking pictures with him one by one, but he cried sad in front of the cinema because he wo the race other than the third one. At that moment, I was moved deep.
Clearly influenced by Italian neo-realists such as Bicycle Thieves director Vittorio De Sica, helmer Majid Majidi uses real locations and non-professional actors to fashion an engaging portrait of youthful determination and resilience. And in documenting the rituals of everyday life in the capital, the film-maker doesn't shirk from depicting the material gulf between the social classes.
The film impressed me most was the ending, Ali running and running, not for himself, but to realise his little sister's hope, to reduse his family's burden. running, boy, under the name of love!

Eat drink man woman parts

When talking about this movie, I'm more familiar with its director Ann Li' another two films, Crouching Tiger ,Hidden Dragon and Brokeback Mountain, The former, a representative of the Chinese Kongfu film, won four Academy Awards that year, made a rage all over the world, the after is a style of his breakthrough,a gay film, the performance of the two men's feelings are very delicate and touching, I like these two movies, and today I was moved by his another old film, Eat man drink woman.

This is a film about a family:a widowed old man, three daughters with different characters, making up a contradictory home,Every family has skeletons in the closet, let's first look at the three daughters.

The  first daughter, Christian, living a conservative, introverted, very appropriate professional identity of teachers.Of course, she not only  hates to see the couple neighbour singing love songs together everyday , but also the wildcats youwling at night.Account of the story, we see clearly, this person who lives in the imaginary into the past, in fact, called by the love of the injury, is only the loneliness, day after day, the fantasy , the self-deception for herself that to be used to find comfort and sympathy from herself and family.
But she can not always lives in her fantasy, she also needs love, even harder than her two little sisters, so when she was joked by her students, she cried so sadly. At this time, love coming, she break herself and get love. I was impressed about her image sitting behind her boyfriend's motorcycle. Looking back to her family with nostalgic but no turning back for her love.

The second daughter, the airline business administration, independent enough bold enough modern enough.But the shadow of his childhood there was her strict father's high expectations, we can see that she had a stressful life in her childhood.Personal love life can be considered a mess,  maintained sexual relationships with her ex-husband unclearly, and the other affiction did not have result finally.At last, the old house renovated and changed the locks, she moves in and lives alone.

Daughter, student, simply naive,  pregnant first and married into the wealthy. Apparently she is the doughter who  experience frustration least and get  affection  fastest in her family.

          What surprises me most is their father, Lao Zhu, he fell in love with Jinrong, a woman who was treated as his fouth doughter in our mind,   during the dinner at last, the father summoned the courage to stand up in the drink, said he would take care  of Jinrong and her doughter,  all of a sudden declaration stunned, but also reasonable as I see.

This is their family ending, except Jiaqian, everyone finds their now home, even their father, and the cook of family dinner has also changed to her instead, everyone changed but Jiaqian is returned, be herself, maintain the family. I love the ending, Jiaqian became understand her father and fanther's taste has returned, its warm and moving.

If I Can Raise Myself

Tsotsi, the winner of 78th Academy Awards, makes me a shocking in my heart.Johannesburg, South Africa in a town near the capital as the background of the film , it tells us  the story of a local Tsotsi gang-leaders in six days of change. A stormy night, for robbing a mob in dispute with killing the conflict,tsotsi hit his partener and ran away, Then he shot and wounded Pumla and drive her car away. In driving speed, he heard a baby's cry, he drove into a sparsely populated place, found in the left baby,he did not leave the baby alone,  he brought the baby home, learn to take care of her, and even threat Miriam,a young mother ,to feeds the baby as his son . In order to solve the problem, he robbed to the baby's father with his complices,but at last he shot his partner to save baby's father and take all the stuff of baby's instead of money and jewelry. finally, with Miriam's maternal ,Tsotsi was moved ,his good recovery, and the baby was returned to the parents of the baby.

     At the first of the film,  i saw tsotsi kill the man and hit his complice,shot the woman and get the car, i thought he is incorrigible, but when he take him home otherthan leave him, and do his best to take care of him. i believe he is goodness in his heart. and the baby is the angel, who make him revived.
tsotsi is lonely and scared, when he hit his complice, he ran away, running in the wilderness at the stormy night, we saw the same scene happened when he was a little boy , little tsotsi also running with feary, we kown he had a sad story in his childhood, and it still affecting him now. tsotsi is not an orphan, but he lived like an orphan.His mum have been diagnosed with HIV, and his dad drinking, he was forbidden to contract with his mum, so he only have his dog to keep company, but his father's hard kick made the dog disabled, also leave the mental wounds to little tsotsi, so tsotsi ran away.He prefer to live in the cement pipeline like other gamins, and looking for his spiritual parents. so now i can understand his losing temper to his complice, boston touched the scar on his heart, his parents.

teotsi is goodness and responsible, he took the baby home and try to feed him and make him comfort, he try to be a father, when he realise his son need breast milk, he find Miriam, he threat miriam to feed“ his son”. I think in his mind he complained his parents and imagine himself as a father, he will take care of his baby very well. but as we know, he is a poor tsotsi, he can not provide a well Material conditions to his baby, so he chose to rob the baby's real home with his two complices-Butcher and Aap.It's funny that the other two robber take what they want, money and food. but tsotsi don't, he went to the baby's room,sitting there in a daze. and take all the stuff of baby's but money.It surprise to me that tsotsi shot to Butcher when jhon was going to be killed.But finally I knew that his is protecting his spirital father.Tsotsi came back to Miriam to show his stuff and money, but Miriam told him that he can not give baby a healthy mother back any more,baby needs mum and dad.At this time,Tsotsi knew that baby needs not only martial,but also love from parents, which he did not have in his childhood.

   I was totally moved by the ending,Painful Tsotsi carryed the baby to the door, he rang the doorbell, told the baby was sent back, he waited for the parents came up other than just ran away, and when the baby was scared by the police, he took the baby in his arm  with kindly pity and feel helpless.He gave back the baby to his parents with crying.I think his tears was not because of his being arrested, it's because of the parents.They want their baby no matter how dangerous it is, and Tsotsi cannot have this happiness,so he cried sadly, so did I.

    After watching this film, I feel sympathy to Tsotsi, he did not have a healthy,happy family and a bad childhood memory,which makes him became taotsi at last.I want to ask,if Tsotsi can raise himself like hie raise the baby, will all this can be changed ?
